DESCRIPTION

Fire Sentry SS4 Flame Detector
Model: SS4-A

The Fire Sentry SS4-A is an electronic optical fire detection device that incorporates the world-leading SS4-A ultraviolet/infrared technology. It has been adopted by numerous facilities worldwide and has a track record of tens of thousands of successful operations. This multi-spectrum detector can sense radiation energy from ultraviolet, visible light, and Wide Band Infrared™ (IR). The detector can instantly detect the radiation energy emitted by all types of fires.

To avoid common false alarms occasionally triggered by dedicated ultraviolet, dedicated infrared, dual infrared, or ultraviolet/infrared dual-mode detectors, as well as the associated inconvenience, the FireLogic signal processing of the SS4 detector first analyzes all the radiation energy from ultraviolet, visible light, and infrared broadband. It then determines whether to issue an alarm. The intelligent detector leverages optimized real-time signal processing algorithms, enabling it to not only issue various types of fire alarms but also virtually prevent any false alarms.


 
SS4-AS The SS4-AS utilizes enhanced solar-blind ultraviolet, quantum effect infrared, and visible light sensors to separately process the ultraviolet, infrared, and visible light (VIS) spectra. Optimized for the detection of fires caused by hydrogen gas, ethanol, and methanol (natural gas), it can also handle Class A, B, and C fires like other detectors in this series.
 
SS4-AUV The SS4-AUV is an advanced ultraviolet optical flame detector. This flame detector can sense radiation energy in the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum. It can promptly detect the radiation energy emitted by a burning flame.
