DESCRIPTION

ITA Surface Tension Online Measurement System is suitable for the cleaning industry, surface technology, semiconductor, optoelectronics industry, and chemical industry, enabling continuous automatic measurement of the surface tension of liquids in the process.

The online system enables real-time measurement of the concentration of surface-active agents, wetting agents, and solvents, and records the data. The SITA online surface tension measurement system is connected to the control center/monitoring system of the factory and automatically adjusts the replenishment of interface agents based on their consumption.

The SITA online surface tension instrument is fully automated and includes:

  • Automatic measurement and analysis of liquids in the process.
  • Self-cleaning function.
  • Calibration of surface tension sensors.
  • Self-diagnosis, including error indication and error logging.

Liquid samples from the process can be reintroduced or discharged, requiring no additional equipment other than the water supply. When combined with a computer or a touch screen-equipped SPS, the central controller of SITA Clean Line CC realizes specific process system solutions.

To ensure that our online surface tension instrument is suitable for your production process, SITA's application engineers develop the best customized online system solutions based on your processes and equipment.

Applications:

  • Paint/Ink: The dynamic surface tension of ink affects various characteristics such as wetting, droplet size, permeability, drying, and leveling.
  • Cleaning Process Monitoring: Metal components must be highly clean before surface treatment or painting to avoid adverse effects on subsequent processes. Continuous monitoring of dynamic surface tension controls the concentration of interface agents to ensure the cleaning capability of the cleaning tank. The concentration of cleaning agents must be maintained within the appropriate range, not too high or too low. Excessive concentration leads to new contamination and increased production costs, while too low concentration fails to meet the cleaning requirements.
  • Semiconductor: Addition of special treatment and polishing liquids for wafer cutting and CMP.
  • Semiconductor: Hydroxylamine tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) solution is a commonly used developer in etching. Monitoring the surface tension of interface agents ensures a stable etching process.
